Ron Lush spent 30 years in pastoral ministry and university administration.

In 1993, with a circle of friends, Ron initiated Global Initiatives, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.

The mission of GI is to “Serve Leaders, Equip and Mobilize Leaders to Serve.”

Organization: President of Global Initiatives which has mobilized business leaders in international service and has served leadership in 25 countries coaching and consulting with leaders facing significant challenge. A sample of the results can be found in the encouragement and increased effectiveness of scores of international and domestic Christian leaders, an educational and ministry center in Bucharest, Romania, four churches in Eastern Hungary, a ministry center in Gdansk, Poland, an intern program for college graduates, the funding of international scholarship programs, and associates serving in Germany and Mexico. Presentation: Teaches spiritual formation, relational formation, leadership formation and organizational effectiveness through the ChristStyle Life and Leader. This study, or components of this study have been taught in ten countries in class, conference, seminar, workshop and local church settings, and through one-on-one and small group coaching and consulting.

Participation: Serves as a member of the boards of the Global Business Leadership Center, Grand Rapids, MI; the New Hope Educational Foundation, Scottsdale, AZ; Casa de Esperanza de los Niños, Chandler, AZ, Hermosillo, Mexico; and, Charasia India, Chicago, IL and Pune, India; and Evangelicals for Middle East Understanding, Tempe, AZ.

Preparation
: BA in English Literature from Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, ID; a M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO; fulfilled a two-year doctor of ministry curriculum in pastoral leadership from the Columbus Cluster (Methodist Theological Seminary in Ohio, Trinity Lutheran Seminary and, Ashland Seminary, enrolling through Methodist Theological Seminary), receiving the D.Min. with a focus in cross-cultural Christian leadership through Western Seminary, Portland, OR.

Ron&Kay
Kay and Ron were married in 1964. Kay participates fully in the mission of GI. Kay and Ron have three married children, and a growing number of grandchildren (12 at last count).
