Mobilizing Leaders to Serve
We Mobilize Creative Solution Seekers.
Global Initiatives is made up a fellowship of experienced and effective international business, missional, ministry and educational leaders. These friends offer their expertise in "quiet" service to international Christian business, community and church leaders. They serve with a strong desire to enable that leader to overcome any obstacles, gain wisdom, confidence and become more effective in serving God and people. They serve "quietly" in the sense they seek no attention, credit or control. Their reward is seeing effective leaders honor God and serve people.
Available. If there is interest you may to go to Serving which will tell whom we serve and how we go about it, and to A&E Tours which tells how we assess need and develop strategy for leaders who face challenge.
Open Service.
This open service to others is carried out in response to our commitment to follow Jesus of Nazareth – His Life, His Teachings, His Way. Our practice is always relational and responsive, it is never a one-size-fits all, programmatic, packaged application. GI is made up of a group of gifted and experienced Solution Seekers. We "come along side" to seek solutions to challenges leadership face, with those leaders.
Coming Along Side
A priority strategy of Global Initiatives is to make a relational connection, build a relationship and “walk with” a friend who gives leadership to a people or an organization that will bring hope and help to people, in particular people of great need. Global Initiatives has come along side business, non-profit organizations, NGOs, and congregations.
Catalytic Creative Thinking
Global Initiatives is called to come alongside growing leaders to think creatively with them as they seek solutions to the challenges they face. This is always done at the invitation of the challenged leader, in response to the culture and need, and always with the leader and his/her team. Global Initiatives never seeks recognition, credit or control, but leaves the responsibility in the hands of the leaders while remaining in support of the leader, and networking relationships and resources to the benefit of the strategy.
Coaching and Consulting
Often, this is accomplished through one-on-one, or small group coaching or consulting, after an informal business model. This is often the mobilization of one, or some of the friends of Global Initiatives who has/have applicable skills and experience spending focused time with a leader assessing, addressing and responding to his/her challenges with a unique and tailored response.
Round Table EC - Encouragement and Coaching
This strategy brings together several friends with various, but applicable and complimentary skills and experience to focus upon a specific issue faced by a leader Global Initiatives has committed to serve. It usually occurs during a half-day session, often morning through lunch. The event is a stimulating chemistry of the best of ideas enhanced by mutual interaction resulting in a unique, tailored and effective strategy addressing the challenge. Very often this takes place over time with each session focusing upon a very specific issue.
Training in Christlike Leadership: Equipping Leaders to Serve.
Global Initiatives also offers a culturally sensitive and adaptable curriculum for equipping leaders to serve effectively based upon the most effective leadership principles and under the authority of Scripture and the Life and Teachings of Jesus. The ChristStyle Life and Leader has been taught in 10 countries, one European college and two North American universities.
