A Circle of Friends

Global Initiatives is the product of a circle of friends who “walk together" in committed, long-term relationship.

"BOB"

At the heart of Global Initiatives is a circle of friends, the Band of Brothers (or BOB) who have been together in fellowship and service for many years. These friends have surrounded and sent* Ron Lush to activate the mission of GI, and they participate fully in the mission of GI by offering their experience and expertise in friendship, taking part in A&E Tours (Assessment and Encouragement Tours) consulting and coaching relationships with challenged international leaders. The results are encouraged and equipped leaders and more. Read about it in The Story.

*The Biblical model we use is from Acts 13:2-3.

Resources for Mission Effectiveness

The friends of Global Initiatives are used to enhance leadership and organizational effectiveness through instruction, presentation, coaching and consulting. Visit the Serving, Equipping and Mobilizing for a description of the resources available, and meet the both our Serve•TEAM, and our Friends Who Serve.

The Serve•TEAM
Global Initiatives is also made up of several friends who serve in different parts of the world. They lead innovative ministry within their communities “surrounded and sent” by the friends of GI.

Dr. Ron Lush

Ron is the initiator and facilitator (president) of Global Initiatives. Ron facilitates the involvement of business leaders in consulting, coaching and solution seeking with challenged global leaders. Ron teaches, preaches and speaks with a focus upon spiritual formation, relational formation, Christlike leadership, organizational effectiveness, and leading the missional church.

Jonathan and Maggie lead the Latin Initiatives, Chiapas, Mexico and Latin America. Jonathan Salgado has been a pastor, professor and catalyst for change in Chiapas, Mexico and throughout Latin America.

Dr. Bruce White

Dental Mission, Chiapas, Mexico. Bruce White, a prominent dentist in Phoenix, Arizona with several of his staff and other friends, have focused upon serving the dental and health needs of the indigenous indian villages of Chiapas, and beyond.
